    The Blue Apron is a student-run full-service restaurant, open Tuesday & Wednesday from 11:00 – 1:00 pm.

    In the French cuisine, the color of an apron worn by the staff denotes the level of mastery. 
    The Blue Apron is known for it's “student in training” approach. Our students are receiving both high school and college credit while enrolled in the program.

Today we will be featuring a Jerk marinated Pork Tenderloin seared on the broiler and roasted to perfection.  To complete your meal, the Pork Tenderloin is paired with Jamaican Polenta and Sweet Potato puree, all topped with a fresh Mango Salsa.

Soup du jour is a creamy Chicken Corn Chowder.

We will not be offering an Express to go Box Lunch today, but beginning tomorrow the Blue Apron will offer a Tuna Nicoise Flatbread with Black Olive Tapenade.  Also included, beginning Wednesday, to complete your Box Lunch will be Broccoli Slaw, House Chips, Lemon Cheesecake Bar, and Ice Mountain Water.

Also, later this week, Blue Apron will feature a layered Chocolate Cake with Double Chocolate Frosting.

Last week, while the Blue Apron Restaurant was closed to the public, our advanced culinary students practiced making homemade corn torillas.

Happy New Year! The Blue Apron Restaurant is now open (11am-1pm Tuesday- Thursday) & our culinary students are ready to serve you. Our featured specials for the week are listed below:

Chef Special: 
Garlic seasoned Chicken Breast.  A lightly breaded, tender chicken breast perfectly seasoned with fresh garlic and pan seared to a golden brown.  Served with sauteed zucchini and baked potato.  

Soup du jour:  Lemon Rice.  A refreshingly light broth of chicken and lemon paired with long grain white rice and fresh parsley.

Dessert  du jour:  Rice Pudding.  Classic Arborio Rice simmered with whole milk, cream, eggs,vanilla, brown sugar, cinnamon, and raisins.

Express to go Box Lunch:  Corned Beef on Rye. Stacked corn beef layered with provolone cheese and a crisp slaw. Served with macaroni salad, House Chips, M & M cookie bar, and Ice Mountain Water.

The culinary arts students baked and decorated sugar cookies for Christmas today in the Blue Apron. They sure do look delicious!

Our Chef would like to invite you to enjoy a traditional Boston baked Scrod, a flaky North Atlantic white fish, topped with buttery cracker crumbs and fresh minced parsley.  Perfectly paired with creamed spinach and tender roasted red potatoes.  $8.00

A hearty New England Clam Chowder is featured as the soup du jour.  A comforting blend of clams, potatoes, and bacon in a cream base.  Cup $3.00 Bowl $4.00
From the bakery we offer a Boston Cream Pie cupcake. A delicate cake filled with pastry cream and topped with chocolate and whipped cream garnish. $3.00
Express to go Box Lunch features an Italian Ciabatta roll with ham, capocollo, and salami all topped with provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato and Italian dressing.  Also inside is a smashed red potato salad, House Chips, glazed sugar cookie, and Ice Mountain water.  $7.00
Congratulations to Beth Harris, last week's winner of a beautiful Holiday Poinsettia.  By purchasing a Chef's Special, Soup du jour, and Dessert du jour on separate visits, Beth was randomly chosen to take home the perfect Holiday accent.  The contest continues this week.
Lastly, This week we will only be open on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 20 and 21.  Enjoy your Holiday break and we will see you when we reopen after the New Year.  Our opening date will be Tuesday, January 17, 2017.
