WACC Welcomes New Agriculture Teacher
Hello! My name is Julia Kincaid and I am excited to be joining the Warsaw Area Career Center team as an Agriculture instructor.

I grew up in Oklahoma, California, and Missouri but consider Cape Girardeau, Missouri my "hometown."  I have been with the love of my life for 26 years and we have three amazing children and one granddaughter.

I attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and received my B.S. in Environmental Design, with an emphasis in Residential Design in 1994. I worked as an architectural designer for 6 years before moving to Warsaw and becoming a stay-at-home mom.  Now that my children are older, I am excited to be re-entering the workforce as a teacher of Landscape Management as well as Food Science.

Over the past seven years, I have created and maintained The Garden of Feedin'. It is a community garden dedicated to teaching people where food comes from and feeding those in need. We use only heirloom seeds to facilitate seed-saving and keep it as organic as possible.

I have a very spoiled French Angora bunny, named Buttercup, whose fur I spin into yarn to knit into fun creations.

I am excited about sharing my passion for food and love of nature with my students in hopes of kindling the same passion in my students.
I am excited to be a member of the WACC team for my first year of teaching and I cannot wait to see where this year goes!
