Last week Mr. Waldeck, Mrs. Ross, & Mr. Schramm took 25 of their BPA students to Indianapolis for their State Leadership Conference.
There were over 1600 high school Hoosiers in attendance, and our students--who qualified by being among the top winners in our region in December--competed against the other regions of the state for the opportunity to compete in Anaheim, California, in May for the BPA National Leadership Conference.
Although not everyone wins, everyone did their best; here are our biggest winners:
Qualifying for National-level Competition:
Global Marketing Team - 2nd Place Megan Dawson
PC Servicing & Troubleshooting - 3rd Place Bryce Welk
Business Law & Ethics - 4th Place Lachlan Lennox
Placing as Alternates or Otherwise Not Qualifying for Nationals:
Computer Security - 7th Place Bryce Welk
Banking & Finance - 8th Place Jarett Orr
Advanced Accounting - 10th Place Austin Lackey
Information Tech Concepts - Open - 5th Place Derek Brown
Management, Marketing, & HR Concepts - Open - 5th Place Isaiah VanPuffelin
Students also attended General Sessions, Leadership Training Sessions, Acted as Voting Delegates to elect next year's state officers and change a bylaw in our Constitution.
Congrats to all of these amazing BPA students!
