Mrs. Tiede's Advanced Child Development students had a great time not only practicing using the car seats this morning, but also preparing for their opportunity to take the babies home sometime soon.

Students in Mr. Huffer's Project Lead the Way: Honors Principles of Engineering classes recently collaborated in teams to design & build a bridge made out of just paper. The students were challenged to design the longest bridge by using only one piece of paper and then hang their designs in the school to see if their bridge would hold up. They did an awesome job working together to design & construct their bridges.

Students in Mrs. Lancaster's Adult Roles & Responsibilities classes were able to participate in a Mock Graduation Ceremony this week. Mrs. Lancaster gave each of them a certificate and then gave a speech to help motivate & encourage them to follow their dreams, achieve their goals, and never give up. The students celebrated with cake & punch after the ceremony.

The Warsaw FFA Chapter heldits first meeting of the 2017-2018 school year last night in the Agriculture Department. With over 50 members in attendance, chapter officers led ice breaker games & then hosted a cookout for dinner complete with hot dogs and other goodies. New members were able to learn about all that they can be involved in this year with FFA as well as meet current members. The excitement in the Ag department was overflowing!

WACC Work Based Learning Co-Op students and Washington STEM Academy students had the opportunity to collaborate in teams on Friday to see who could build the largest freestanding structure out of marshmallows.  What a fun time it was to see STEM and teamwork in action in multi-age groups!
