I am proud to be a teacher at Warsaw Community High School and the Warsaw Area Career Center. I have been in education 34 years spending time both in the classroom and as a guidance counselor. Encouraging young people to reach their full potential and plan for a successful future is a passion for me.

Preparing for College & Careers students use collaboration to learn about the WACC Career Academies. Teamwork and communication skills were a main focus.
Mrs. Tiede's Advanced Nutrition & Wellness class made Pumpkin Rolls yesterday. Students learned new skills and the importance of nutrition. A great class to take for students that loved the first Nutrition & Wellness class!!

Students have learned a lot in the final project this semester--Pajama pants!  This has been such a great semester of learning together.  One  student said, "I want to learn as many skills as I can while I am in high school."  Awesome attitude!!  Mrs. Carmichael has really enjoyed her students and their desire to learn this semester in Fashion & Textiles!
Preparing for College & Careers students practice interviewing skills. iPads videos will be used to evaluate and improve these skills. #WCSmission

Students in Fashion & Textiles continue to learn new skills and practice existing skills. Mrs. Carmichael is so proud of the excellent attention to detail and work exhibited in these projects. With these skills, students can create bags of any size and for any occasion or use!

Check out Mrs. Carmichael's teacher webpage for more information about the projects they are working on and for the pattern to make your own drawstring bag!
