I am proud to be a teacher at Warsaw Community High School and the Warsaw Area Career Center. I have been in education 34 years spending time both in the classroom and as a guidance counselor. Encouraging young people to reach their full potential and plan for a successful future is a passion for me.

Students in Adult Roles and Responsibilities are able to experience the world of work and improve their interviewing skills as adults from our community review resumes prepared by the student and conduct interviews.  Thank you to our community partners for giving our students the opportunity to shine.

Students in Human Development and Wellness experience a “Marriage Seminar” led by Dena and Kevin Lancaster. The importance of communication skills, teamwork and friendship in a marriage were stressed as students had to work together to accomplish a teamwork activity.

Preparing for College and Careers students express their gratitude to Dr. Hintz for spending his day encouraging them to use their knowledge, skills and technology to change the world for the better. “You Matter” was his inspiring message.

Warsaw Area Career Center FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America) demonstrated outstanding knowledge and skills at the State Conference March 6 through the 8, 2014. Four teams earned Gold and are National Qualifiers; three teams earned silver--one a National Qualifier and another a National Alternate; and one team earned Bronze. The National FCCLA Conference is July 6-10 in San Antonio, Texas. These students used projects which enrich the lives of others as a basis for this competition. Congratulations to all of these FCCLA Members!!!
