Advanced Child Development students practice child care by working with baby simulators.
Advanced Child Development students scored 80% or higher on their state proficiency exam, which is higher than the state average! Great job!!

Mr. Herendeen and Mrs. Hershberger from Warsaw Public Library, visited the Advance Child Development classes to host “Story Hour”. Our guests explained and demonstrated reading techniques when reading to young children. The students also brainstormed possible activities and themes that could accompany these stories. The students sang songs, participated in finger-play (Itsy Bitsy Spider), completed a craft and danced; all to show the many possibilities one can do to supplement reading a book. Learning and practicing these skills allows students to enrich the lives of children for generations to come.
