EMT Class Practice Traction Splinting

Prerequisite: Acceptance to program required.
(Acceptance method varies from program to program.)
Length: 1 semester (2 periods)
Credits Earned: 2
Students may earn college credit if they complete the Ivy Tech application and earn a C or higher. This course is being offered in partnership with Multi-Township EMS of Warsaw. It is a state-approved curriculum for E.M.T. training. Once completed and reaching the age of 18, the student can take the state test and if successful, become a licensed E.M.T. Students are required to have specific immunizations which can be obtained from the family doctor or the county health clinic. Course offering is dependent on the number of students and instructor availability.
