Nontraditional CTE Student Highlight: Hannah Rice
Hannah Rice is a senior here at Warsaw Community High School & the Warsaw Area Career Center and will be graduating with both the Management & Marketing Career Academy Certificates. She is currently in Honors Introduction to Accounting with Mrs. Heinsman, Criminal Justice Independent Study, & an Internship with Mrs. Ross through the Superior Court III & John Barrett Law Office. Previously she's taken Advanced Strategic Marketing (Dual Credit-Ivy Tech), Principles of Business Management (Dual Credit-Ivy Tech), Business Law & Ethics, Principles of Marketing (Dual Credit-Ivy Tech), Introduction to Business, and Preparing for College & Careers here in the WACC.

Hannah said that she decided to take these courses as she's always had an interest in the law. Her mom jokes that it's because she likes to argue, but she says she always tries to advocate for the "little man." Hannah states that she appreciates equality and blind justice and that everyone is held accountable for their own actions.

When she's not busy with her current classes, Hannah is involved in Business Professionals of America as the Regional President & is in the National Honors Society.

Hannah is proud to be graduating Magna Cum Laude after consistently being on the Honor Roll.

Upon graduating, Hannah earned a direct admission to the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University and plans to major in Finance & minor in Political Science. Hannah hopes to attend law school to study employment & corporate law as she'd love to create wills, trusts, and estates for special needs children & their families in the future.

Congrats, Hannah, on all of your accomplishments. The WACC is so proud of you and wishes you the best in the future!
