Earlier this week, Mrs. Lancaster's students had the opportunity to participate in a Mock Graduation during their Adult Roles & Responsibilities class. Mrs. Lancaster brought her students to the Performing Arts Center for the "ceremony" and presented them with their own certificates- all while they were dressed in caps & gowns and Pomp & Circumstance music played. After each student walked across the stage and received their certificate, Mrs. Lancaster addressed the students and encouraged them to stick it out & to not take the easy road in life. The students then headed back to their classroom to talk about what they aspire to be/do after graduation and to celebrate with cake and punch.
