Eight Culinary Arts & Hospitality students recently earned their ServSafe Food Handler Certification. This program taught them the importance of responsible food service measures. These students were able to learn basic food safety practices for preparing and serving food from the leader in food safety training & certification. Congratulations to these awesome students!
Students earning this certification include: Cosme Olivarez, Lillian Campos, Michael Busz, Luna Chandler, Kayla Dunn, Brianna McBrier, Esmeralda Ayala, & Ricardo Saldivar.

Yesterday our Culinary students learned how to filet fish from WACC Director Ronna Kawsky's dad, Mr. Ronald Boyd! He is here this week visiting and to help with the fish fry during Parent-Teacher Conferences for our Career Center teachers. We are so thankful for not only the time he spent catching the fish and for the investment he makes into teaching our students new skills, but also for the help he provides in appreciating our awesome teachers! Thank you, Mr. Boyd!
