Students in Paul Zakaria's Project Lead the Way: Intro to Engineering classes recently completed several projects, including creating a marble bridge using only a few sheets of paper, tape, and a folder. Check out the fun pictures below of how awesome & creative these students are!
Earlier this week, the Honors Biomedical students had the opportunity to showcase their Human Physiology scientific posters to area medical professionals at the WCS Central Office building. We are so proud of these amazing seniors!!
Students in Mr. Huffer's Project Lead the Way: Honors Principles of Engineering classes recently collaborated in teams to design & build a bridge made out of just paper. The students were challenged to design the longest bridge by using only one piece of paper and then hang their designs in the school to see if their bridge would hold up. They did an awesome job working together to design & construct their bridges.
Engineering Technology/Project Lead the Way students were recently were honored for their top achievements during the EDD Showcase in the Performing Arts Center. Several students had the opportunity to present the projects they'd been working on all school year. Following the presentations cookies & punch were provided. Great job students!
Students in Ms. Love's Project Lead the Way- Honors Biomedical Innovations class gave their final sales pitch presentations to the community in a "Shark Tank"-like setting last night at WCHS. These students have been in this program for their entire 4-year high school careers and received a medal that will be worn on their robe during the graduation ceremony in June. Congratulations & great job students!
