Mrs. Kincaid's Landscape Management Class would like to extend a huge "thank you!" to Jeff Nycz or Mid-South Images for taking drone pictures of the WACC Courtyard. Mr. Nycz took time out of his busy schedule to take a "before" picture of the courtyard that they could use as the students designed further additions to the food forest renovation they started last year. The courtyard looks fantastic & the WACC appreciates the continued support of so many wonderful local businesses!
After 22 years of service to the Warsaw Area Career Center, Diana Yarian, our Program Specialist, is retiring on December 21st. Diana has been a key component to the inner workings of the WACC & has been instrumental in many key projects including the Non-Traditional Employment for Women Workshop. Please be sure to save-the-date for her retirement party in the Blue Apron Restaurant (located within our career center) from 3-5pm this Thursday, December 20th. We cannot wait to commemorate & celebrate her this week!
Mrs. Carmichael's Advanced Fashion & Textiles students recently made t-shirts for a local charity. We are so proud of their hard work & generous hearts!
