Yesterday our Culinary students learned how to filet fish from WACC Director Ronna Kawsky's dad, Mr. Ronald Boyd! He is here this week visiting and to help with the fish fry during Parent-Teacher Conferences for our Career Center teachers. We are so thankful for not only the time he spent catching the fish and for theinvestment he makes into teaching our students new skills, but also for the help he provides in appreciating our awesome teachers! Thank you, Mr. Boyd!
Last Friday afternoon, Dena Lancaster's Adult Roles & Responsibilities classes participated in Community Led Interviews. Local business owners & community members helped conduct interviews with our students to help sharpen their interview skills & critique their resumes. We greatly appreciate the wonderful support we have of our community when hosting events like these!

Inspire College of Cosmetology students & WCHS/WACC seniors hosted the First Annual Cut-A-Thon this past Saturday. Hair cuts were only $5 and all proceeds went towards their upcoming trip to the Cleveland Hair Show. They raised enough money for two students to have their trip completely paid for! Way to go girls!! Special thanks to all friends, family, and community members for their support in attending the Cut-A-Thon!
