Freshman students in Preparing for College & Careers work together to learn and practice good team building skills. Our FACS teachers prepared many activities for their students to bond & work together last week during their first few days of school. Some students built gingerbread houses together while others used only rubber bands to build towers out of plastic cups.

Peggy Roulo came to visit the Advanced Culinary Arts students in the Blue Apron today, to teach them a few tips & techniques about what she's learned over the years as "The Cake Lady" of Warsaw. She not only shared her cake decorating skills, but also talked about the business aspect of her life & the importance of building relationships with customers.

The Warsaw Area Career Center truly appreciates the time Peggy spends investing into our students!

Hi, I am Emily! I just graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelors Degree in FCS Education. This is my first year teaching however, I student taught with Warsaw in the spring, and I am also a WCHS grad.

I am a born and raised Warsaw native. I love the community, so I was always the kid that NEVER wanted to leave home.
I am a huge family person. My family has been and will always be my rock. I have an older brother and an older sister. That makes me the baby of the family, which I love because I learned a lot from my siblings throughout my lifetime. My brother and his wife have one daughter (my niece) and we just celebrated her 1st birthday this month.

Something exciting to add is that I am getting married in November. My fiance is my best friend and I'm ready to start this next chapter of life with him. I will no longer be Ms. Stouder but instead Mrs. Campbell! Together we have two Goldendoodle puppies, Parker and Murphy. I am obsessed with them and they've kept me very busy this summer. They are high energy, lovable, and easy going. I hope to get them registered (and trained) as service animals so I can share their fun loving spirit with the world (or at least my students).

As crazy as it sounds, my favorite hobby is running. I ran in both high school and in college. I love the feeling of accomplishment when I have finished a run, and I love being able to EAT, EAT, EAT. Recently, I have taken interest in trail running. I also love being out on the lake. And of course, I love spending any moment I have with family.
