Jacob Rucker is in Welding Technology II with Mr. Morr at the Lakeview Welding Lab and is shown in these pictures recently modifying exercise equipment for Scott Erba and the weight room.

Mr. Morr's Welding technology students are already hard at work this semester. Pictured is Braden Aragon fixing an aluminum truck box & other students making new bike racks and painting them for Lincoln Elementary. 



The Welding Technology Program recently received brand new welders. Under the direction of Certified Welding Instructor, Chris Morr, the program purchased 24 welders total with 12 Square Wave TIG 200's and 12 Power Mig 260's. These welders represent the latest welding technology on the market. 

Unboxing and assembling our new Lincoln Power MIG 260's are an Advanced student, Daniela Parra and beginning students, Armondo Vargas and Caeden Meade. 


Nine Whitko High School students took an American Welding Society, Welder Certification Test April 27th at the Steel Dynamics Keith E. Busse Technology Center of Ivy Tech Community College in Fort Wayne. Passing students earned a worldwide recognized certification in the Gas Metal Arc Welding process. The test consisted of an American Welding Society D-9 Work Procedure Sheet. Each student prepared and produced the required test specimen. The test was overseen and inspected by AWS Certified Welding Inspector Tim Sorg.

Students achieving this status were: Trea Arnold, Hunter Myers, Dillon Hamilton, Levi Coy, Kimberly Hoover, Michael Connor, Alex Rouse, and Jose Cordero.
