The Blue Apron is a student-run full-service restaurant, open Tuesday & Wednesday from 11:00 – 1:00 pm.
In French cuisine, the color of an apron worn by the staff denotes the level of mastery. The Blue Apron is known for it's “student in training” approach. Our students are receiving both high school and college credit while enrolled in the program.
The Warsaw Building Trades program hosted their open house Wednesday evening. This is the 36th year for the Building Trades Program. Twenty-two students, under the direction of their instructor, Eric Taylor, worked on the home owned by Chris and Reily Frankum. The students were involved in framing, roofing, siding, window and door installation, insulating, drywalling, painting, trimming and concrete work.
The home is a one-story ranch style house with approximately 2,800 finished square feet. The home is equipped with a high-efficiency gas furnace and central air.
The students that worked on the home are Jonathan Aca, Jose Alvarez, Noah Boren, Christian Carnegie, Cole Davis, Zachary Dutton, William Dye, Austin Fisher, Bryan Gonzalez, Zachary Howard, Ian Jones, Reality Lawson, Trevor Lomperski, Jesus Lopez, Mauricio Medellin, Carlos Medoza, Tristan Mobley, Christian Moyotl, Armando Munguia, Hunter Scott and Jared Teeple.
