Nontraditional CTE Student Highlight: Karleigh Warren
Karleigh is a senior student in the Criminal Justice Program here at the Warsaw Area Career Center. Prior to this year, she's taken Child Development, Advanced Child Development, Interpersonal Relationships, & Preparing for College & Careers in the WACC. Karleigh decided to take Criminal Justice because of her interest in criminology & forensics. She says that she's always been interested in this field of study.

In addition to her Honors Criminal Justice class, Karleigh has been the yearbook editor for the last two years, was a staff member with the yearbook for two years before that, and has been busy interning at the Beamon Home this year. Karleigh is proud to have been chosen as student of the week previously, to have been selected to receive the Woodies Scholarship, and to have been the first ever freshman staff writer & first ever junior editor for the WCHS yearbook.

Upon graduation, Karleigh plans to continue her journey at Ivy Tech Community College and then transfer to Grace College to pursue criminology. Congrats, Karleigh! We are proud of you & wish you the best in all your future endeavors!
