Jacie says that she decided to take Building Trades because she loves to learn, build things, and enjoys hands-on learning the most. Outside of school, Jacie also plays soccer and has her own craft business. After graduating high school, Jacie plans to either attend college or start her own construction business.

Be on the lookout for this bulletin board in the Business Department hallway.  Internship - look at where some of the students have been placed and where you could go next.  Follow your career path outside these school walls!
Special thanks to Alicia Elder, EMT & Paramedic with Lutheran EMS, for coming into Ms. Renbarger's & Mrs. Carmichael's Child Development classes yesterday & today to not only teach them the importance of CPR but to also help them earn their certifications to be qualified to administer it when needed.

From Mrs. Ross- Marketing Instructor & WBL Internship Coordinator:

Every company has a story to tell (Marketing) just like every student in my Marketing classes has a story to tell.  The students created their own 'story' board in my room to express ( and market) their story.

Chef Bragg's Advanced Culinary students are preparing for the opening of their restaurant, the Blue Apron, by practicing with different cheesecake recipes. Students not only prepared Oreo cheesecake & a traditional New York style cheesecake, but also tried various toppings, decorations, & stylings with raspberry coulis, chocolate syrups, mint leaves (from our WACC Courtyard Garden!), and whipped cream. They all looked delicious & beautiful!
