For the next few weeks, we will be highlighting our students who are considered non-traditional. A 'non-traditional' CTE student is considered one who is pursuing a career or technical education program related to an occupation which employs less than 25% of their gender.
Danielle Ousley, senior here at WCHS/WACC, is in our Precision Machine Technology Program. In addition the PMT, Danielle has taken Manufacturing, Personal Financial Responsibility, Preparing for College & Careers, Child Development, Advanced Child Development, Nutrition & Wellness, Interpersonal Relationships, and Adult Roles & Responsibilities here in the Career Center. Danielle is also involved in many extra-curricular activities including Choir, Theatre, Softball, the food pantry at her church, and has a part-time job at Burger King. She's proud to have had perfect attendance in the past and to have been awarded the Diversity Scholarship from Grace College. Upon graduation, Danielle plans to attend Grace in the fall and major in general studies. Congrats, Danielle, and thanks for allowing us to highlight you on our website today.
