The FACS department members celebrate our Golden Apple award winner!!  Chef Mark Bragg is amazing. Teaching our students to become chefs and learn about the culinary and hospitality industry is a huge task!  His persistence, passion and positive attitude inspire our students.  We would love to have you as our guest at the Warsaw Area Career Center Blue Apron restaurant. Come see what Mark and his students do each day and taste the flavor-filled dishes they create. Congratulations, Mark!!!

Adulting is hard!! Students in Preparing for College & Careers used their values, goals and life experiences to determine how the money they would earn would be spent for needs and wants. Many important lessons were learned and students made and defended excellent choices. #WACC #CTE #RealLifeEducation

It's beginning to look a lot like the end of the semester!!!  Fashion and Textile students are beginning to finish their PJ pants and are ready to stay cozy and warm this winter.  Mrs. Carmichael's students have learned so many valuable skills this semester.  One student said the skill she has had to practice the most is patience!!!  Something we can all use a bit more of.  What a wonderful "sewmester" it has been!

Fashion & Textile students have come a long way this semester. Students who had never sewn
before are now making their first garment--pajama pants. The skills and creativity these students have developed and shown are incredible. These are a few pictures of our students in action!

Fashion & Textiles have been learning about the difference between woven and knit fabrics. They have learned to knit and weave and the projects they have produced are as individual as the students. It has been a fun way to express creativity while learning new skills.
